Joke

A joke is a short story or ironic portrayal of a situation communicates with the intention of being humorous. These jokes are usually on a point that at the end of the sentence to make it funny. A joke can also be a single sentence or statement that employs sarcasm. The wit can also be used as a slang term for a person or thing, not taken seriously by others or in general is known as a failure. A practical joke or string differs from a talk that a substantial part of the humor is physical rather than verbal (such as placing salt in the sugar bowl).

Jokes are usually for the entertainment of friends and spectators. The desired reaction is usually laughter, if this does not happen, the joke had "Fallen Flat".

Comedy

"Comedy" is a popular sense (each discourse in general to maintain, particularly in television, film and stand-up comedy). This must be carefully separated from his scientific definition, namely the comic theatre, its western origins can be found in ancient Greece. Parody takes the form of some popular genres, illustrations, or text, but uses certain changes ironic criticism of this form of interior (though not necessarily in a way to condemn). Screw Ball comedy derives its humor largely on bizarre, surprising (and improbable) situations or characters. Black comedy is defined by the dark humour makes light of the so-called dark or evil elements in human nature. Similarly, scatological humor, sexual humor, and racial humor, comedy of violations of social conventions and taboos in strange ways.

A comedy of manners usually takes as its subject a particular part of society (typically upper class of society) and uses humor to parody or satirize the behavior and mannerisms of its members. Romantic comedy is a popular genre shows that the burgeoning romance in humorous terms, and focuses on the weaknesses of these are falling in love.
